I've had a couple of hours to process, I'm struck by how that many people can be in one place (in my case DC) without incident. Babies, kids, adults, teens, students, older people including those pushed in wheelchairs by (grand)daughters. People of all races, ethnicities, religions, customs. How is it even possible that more than a million people co-existed in a tight space w/o panic when the exit route was overcrowded.And nothing bad happened.
