[How do I get rid of #NegativeThinking?] ---- This is going to be simple, but it works. And if I don’t do this every day: I sink. I despair. I suffocate on my own negativity. Our brains like to be negative. It actually relieves stress. If something bad happens to you, your stress hormones spike. One way to reduce the stress in the body, believe it or not, is to think negative. This is me: “I lost a lot of money in a business. But it was my partner’s fault!” or…”I’m not able to have good relationships!” Etc. Negativity is an excuse. And so it relieves the stress and, surprisingly, makes you feel better. But positive is better. Positive is a muscle, a habit, something to exercise and practice. I’m negative a lot. I wake up negative. Why me? Why them? Why did this happen? Why why why. So I have to stop myself. I have to say, “5x5 rule” and then I have to act on it. I remind myself of this at least three times a day.
