Listen to podcasts, connect to professional groups, read articles. Get acquainted with the jargon. Know to speak the right language. It takes time. DO - start your own project in that field. A blog. A podcast. Volunteer somewhere. Do something. This will give you plenty to talk about in interviews. This is a MUST. Write - post on LinkedIn or in professional groups/forums with your thoughts.
