When female founders were at risk of losing their upward momentum in both $ and % of total VC capital from COVID-19, 500 recommitted to female founders and brought the community together to support with time, resources, and money. Helping to build that 500 Female Forces initiative has been one of the most rewarding projects I've done at 500. During its launch, some of my friends and former classmates who identify as female founders reached out to me regarding the initiative including Sarah Weingust whom I met in my sophomore year of college.
