When I was in college, I remember transitioning out of tech because I didn’t think I was smart enough. I had tried out for a tech entrepreneurship club on campus, and in my 2nd round of interviews, choked up on a basic marketing question. I was so embarrassed that it eventually led me to questioning if I was tough enough for the industry. Last week, I worked my first Demo Day as an official member of the 500 Startups family. If you would have told me when I was 18 that I would be creating content about some of the world’s most promising tech entrepreneurs, I would have thought you were crazy.
