My Spring Intern, Adriana Bernal Martinez , had her last day on Wednesday. Mid-way through her semester, I told her that I as taking a staycation the following weekend. Her response? “How exciting! You so deserve it.” I was absolutely taken back by how well she understood how to support me. While she thanked me for mentoring her as my intern, I should really be the one thanking her for how she taught me even more about gratitude and communication.
