Know which battles to fight." ➡️ "I would like to be disliked by some: sexists, racists, and anyone discriminating against another person. As women, we feel pressured to try to make everyone like us. This is wrong." ➡️ "Never let a man make you feel guilty for liking nice things. You are allowed to love yourself and others." ⬆️ All of these are quotes from female mentors in my life who, at one point or another, have told me these things as a form of empowerment.
