I've received a lot of questions about the progress of my book lately, so here's an update for those who are interested: Writing a book has been one of the most challenging--and rewarding--tasks I've ever undertaken. I originally thought I'd be ready to publish last year, but the project has taken much more time than anticipated. However, I just finished chapter 7 of 10 (entitled, "The Truth About Empathy: the Good, the Bad, and the Misunderstood"), and am very excited to be entering the home stretch! I hope to be finished by May, after which I'll turn over to my editor--with launch targeted for the fall. Above all, I keep reminding myself: Good work can't be rushed. I truly can't wait to share the finished project with you guys!
