I recommend watching this video all the way through. Google admitted to The Verge that it is disturbing, "It is designed to be." But there's something undeniably "Brave New World" about it. Leaving aside the creepiness, the premise seems to be built upon the assumption that understanding the past and present is key to predicting the future. History tells us this is at best only partially true. Even if Google one day manages to harness billions of user data points to help coerce the desired behavior from both the individual and the wider population, I suspect chaos theory will kick in at some point: you cannot predict the unpredictable.
