Dealing with the coronavirus requires way more than soap and water and stopping the physical spread. There is a psychological toll too. So, I am worried about children and their difficulty with school closures and social distancing. It is tough on them -- don't let anyone tell you otherwise. So, I wrote a children's book for them -- to be read to and with them. It will be out w/in two weeks in an ebook and video version. But, for now, use this link below. So we are all worried about the virus and germs and transmission. Families confined to their homes are struggling. I have a bilingual children's book (ages 2 -- 4) that is on indestructible paper that can be wiped down -- cleaned off with a wipe. Seriously, this is a book for our transmission worried times. And, it deals with object constancy --- something critical in our crazy world. It is fun and clever and has multiracial characters. Thoughts welcomed. Will strain on folks be diminished as the world reopens slowly? I think not as much as others think. Ponder PPTS — post pandemic trauma syndrome.
