From #LetsGetRadical Live yesterday: “You need to understand the technology. You need to adopt it and you need to buy-in before you can go out and ask your clients to change. Once you do this … there is a new service offering you can bring to your clients.” - Heather Satterley, CPA, EA, MSI . What do you think? Special thanks to ADP for making this session possible. Jenny Johannesson excellently highlights a problem I've been concerned about for while now. Trend jumping when it comes to design. While the advent of companies like Squarespace and Wix.com make it easier than ever to create a website (which is a good thing), it is still important to remember that brand is the sum total of everything a company does and how it interacts with the world. Including design. It's how we approached it when I was in marketing at Netflix . And it is, in my opinion, an important component of building a cohesive brand. #design #websitedesign #branding #visualbranding #genericdesign #squarespace #wix #graphicdesign #netflix …see more

This is an interesting challenge facing all e-commerce companies, not just Brandless, Inc. (notice that even purchases on Amazon went down over time). Two big caveats: 1/ The analysis was done by a third party so take it with a grain of salt on the absolute numbers 2/ No idea if said third parties took into account seasonality nor if that actually had an impact on the timeframe they used as for their sample. #ecommerce #amazon #brandless #customeracquisition #customerconversion #customerretention #crm #cx #customerexperience #onlineshopping #consumerbehavior #cpgindustry …see more

Here’s a nice summary of the tiny habits approach that may make you want to make a tiny New Year’s resolution.
If Facebook is OK with President Trump lying and making false claims in a paid ad, Facebook should be OK with me (or anyone) lying and making false claims in an ad too. If Facebook doesn’t care about the truth, why should I? Think about this...

Facebook has an enormous amount of power; it is the largest communications platform ever created; and with its size and influence, it must be held to the highest standards. But what does that even mean?
