Every week you should try to buy or 'interact with" your companies product/experience. The more senior you are, the more you should often you should do it ( and with you kid/ a borrowed Child) I'd love to watch someone from IKEA try and buy something from their store or website. I'd love to see someone from Volkswagen try and buy a car or get it serviced. I'd love to see someone from Samsung unbox and set up their TV, someone from T-mobile try to buy service online. I'd relish watching someone from Amazon try to buy shoes online, someone from Nationwide to buy insurance or make a claim, someone from Drizly to see how strange the order flow is. I'd love to see how they feel about getting 10 emails a week from their brands, I'd love to see them try to choose and buy their own Healthcare plans. Or to ask customer service a question, or to cancel an order. It's beyond my imagination that this is happening, but it's astonishing that's not just how people do their jobs. …see more
