With any remotely creative task I've learned over years of pain and failure to believe in the 90/10 rule. It's easy to be <10% of the process, you are a consultant, an advisor, you chip in here and there, you are sought out when needed. It's easy to 90+% of the process, you have oversight of the whole thing, ownership, responsibility, you own the strategy and vision. This applies to planning a wedding, running a workshop, designing a brochure, writing a speech, doing a presentation, curating an art exhibit, selling something, and many things. I'm happy be be wrong but anything like 70:30 or even 50:50 just means total confusion. It can work when roles are very clearly explained, but even then collaboration is hard. It's a personal non scientific theory of mine, aware I may be wrong, would love to know your thoughts.
