Someone should invent a new search engine where when you type in a question, it doesn't just show you things that support it. You can type in " Why is the earth flat" or " Diana was killed by the Queen" and you've now got a lifetime of material to read to show you that you're correct, with algorithms getting an ever tighter grip on you and to confirm that what you think and what you see is normal. Would it be so hard to develop algorithms to ensure you're challenged. …see more

The snakes and ladders game will continue till the consolidation process is complete simply because we don’t know how bad the scene is with some of the banks that are being merged
People are really good at saying what they want. We say we want to be good parents. We say we want to be good partners. We say we want to make time for prayer or meditation. We say we want to exercise more and eat healthier. When it comes to living in accordance with our values, we have to be able to say “yes” to this one question: Did I make time for this on my calendar? In order to follow-through on our promises to ourselves and our loved ones, it’s not enough to just talk the talk. To be the people we want to become, we have to schedule time to live out our values. We have to turn our values into time! What's something you're making more time for in the new year? Is it on your calendar? #Indistractable #Values #Purpose …see more

Disability is often ignored in conversations around diversity and inclusion. There are many forms of disability. Including many that are invisible. Did you know that even pregnancy may be defined as a temporary disability according to the US EOEC? ❤ Please continue to lead with compassion, understanding the hidden battles your team may be facing. Always remember that adversity is relative and to never compare your personal battles to those of others. ❤ I found this little gem on another platform and had to share it with you all. ❤ #careers #employment #inclusion …see more
While getting our cups of Sunday morning coffee, my husband spotted a package of confetti I stashed on the counter near the espresso machine... The rainbow sprinkles included a note from a local HR and culture expert that read: CELEBRATE EVERYTHING He smiled and picked it up, "I really like that. Where did you get this?" I told him about the magical human behind the business and the concept she follows in promoting joy, celebration and fulfillment to companies across the globe. And although I kept the confetti as a reminder to send a thank-you card, this joy trickled from my office, into my home... As I thought about the efficacy of promo products and incorporating a direct mail campaign into some current client projects, I realized two things: 1️⃣ I need to celebrate more! 2️⃣ I carry a lot of things and feelings home... I thought, what else follows me home from the office and long work days? Certainly stress and occasional overwhelm, but those good days, stellar relationships and joy flood in frequently! Are you mindful of what you bring home? Do you manage a strong work-life balance? PS - does this qualify as a proper thank you Leah Roe, CPA ?! The goodies still make me smile! 👆 Connect with her ASAP! #HR #Culture …see more

Every once in awhile, a product, person or service will POP right into our lives and surprise us... With delight, passion, and love... Or even anger, sadness, and disbelief... These impressions stay with us for the rest of our lives, emphasizing the consumer lifecycle and importance of leaving a stellar lasting impression. For a personal brand, that begins with your personality and correlating graphic elements which is why I decided to work with the brilliant stylist, Miriam Bulcher to build my luxury portrait portfolio. It was amazing! I got to research which props I wanted to be "branded with" as well as colors, books, and more! If you could bring THREE props to define your personal brand, what would they be?! Let me know in the comments! Mine? 😁 Happy Face Sweater - SMILES ALWAYS WELCOME! 🦄 Unicorn Mug - THRIVES on Rainbows & Caffeine! 📚 My Book Collection - Brene Brown & Neuroscience! I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with the incredible Miriam and will be a lifelong advocate for her talents! #Photography #GraphicDesign #PersonalBranding #DigitalMarketing #Design #Photoshoot #ChantelShares #Create #Creative #Sales #Branding #LinkedIn #LinkedInStrategy #LinkedInTips #LinkedInTraining …see more
