10 Fears that are holding you back from success: 1. Fear of failure 2. Fear of rejection 3. Fear of critique 4. Fear of inadequacy 5. Fear of being selfish 6. Fear of unknown 7. Fear of trolls or haters 8. Fear of attention 9. Fear of looking foolish 10. Fear of success The list of fear can go and on, and they can prevent us from moving a step forward of walking in our own path of purpose. I don’t believe in dreams. I believe in our hard work of realising our realities. Every day, it’s a battle. A battle with our internal self. To succeed in life we need to first face our fears. Today, I’m fearful that I won’t succeed. Instead of feeding into that fear, I change my narrative and say: I acknowledge this fear, but I’m doing this to help others grow. I’m good at what I do. I am worth it and they are worthy of success that comes our way I’m not sharing that statement to welcome a pity party but to emphasise that’s facing our fears is part of a package of being a human. Be an awesome human. Be fearless. #stringtheory on #personalbranding …see more

"Just another Millennial giving advice." "This privileged blonde Becky knows nothing." šŸ™„šŸ™„šŸ™„ If that's really ALL the value you have to offer the world, by bullying REAL people who open up about their struggles and health battles to empower professionals and inspire the community, then I feel terribly bad for you. This isn't just about ageism, racism, ablism or sexism. It's about being a DECENT human being. I've lived and loved more in my millennial life than most people will ever experience. Not necessarily by choice, but by circumstance - but we should NOT have to explain every ounce of trauma and adversity to gain respect. Remember this... E>B Educate yourself before you bully. Your employer and clients can see your activity. One of my most rewarding experiences at Studio71, LP happened a couple weeks ago when I was able to give a presentation to the whole office on social media. I was able to explain not only the company's social strategy, but also my personal journey these past few years on Linkedin and how employees at the company could optimize their profiles to benefit both the company and their personal brands. So few companies realize just how important their employee's personal brands can be to closing deals and fostering new opportunities for the company. Glad to know that my advice worked for people like Stephen Perlstein and others! #corporateculture #marketing #socialmedia #linkedin …see more

I like that based on the data Harvard is head-to-head with Stanford despite the fact that a lot of times Stanford gets a lot more credit for training entrepreneurs.

I just gave a keynote after the opening talk of the CEO of Hikma in Lisbon. I described how digital health technologies can add to producing medications. My favorite example is how Roche acquired MySugr, an award-winning diabetes app to improve the success of their diabetes medications. We can summarize this trend: producing drugs is not enough anymore. Have you seen any similar examples? https://lnkd.in/g_F34DG On the photo: Before the storm. #themedicalfuturist #digitalhealth #future #healthcare #medicine #technology #fromchancetochoice #speaker #keynote #speakerlife …see more

I've done sports all my life and broken many limbs so I know exactly what it feels like to wear a plaster cast. Itchy, heavy, itchy, uncomfortable and ooh, itchy. I wore this custom-made 3D printed cast too for a few days and it's a different world. The Spanish company EXOVITE makes them in minutes and the cost is almost around the cost of a plaster cast. 3D printing has such amazing potentials to shape the healthcare experience. BUT! I keep on receiving emails from parents who want this for their children and I can't recommend them any places where they can get it in practice. Do you know of any places where a 3D printed cast is a real option? #themedicalfuturist #digitalhealth #future #healthcare #medicine #technology #fromchancetochoice #3dprinting #cast …see more

I'm subjective here but it feels good not to go to a lab for a lab testing. This is one way how #digitalhealth can make patients the point-of-care. Imaware offered me to use one of their tests for celiac disease which I did. One finger prick (hurt like bastard but they told me they are working on more comfortable methods), blood collection took only a few minutes and I just received the results (negative). I look forward to seeing what other tests they will launch. https://imaware.health / #themedicalfuturist #digitalhealth #testing #future #healthcare #medicine #technology #testing #health #healthy #fromchancetochoice …see more

I eat fast, I guess I bring it from my childhood when I couldn't sit down and stop even for a second. The HAPIfork vibrates when I eat too fast and shows a red light. It turns green when I can take the next fork serving. I understand the importance of eating more slowly (you eat less), but I'd find it hard to live with it. Would you use it? #eating #digitalhealth #technology #future #food #eat …see more

More of the same early in the US trading session: Continued stock market volatility and NASDAQ relative out-performance (see charts below). Many are wondering why the same well-telegraphed health-related news was shrugged aside yesterday by markets yesterday but leading them lower today. Part of the answers lies in the tug-of-war between technicals and fundamentals and, more generally, the markets current lack of anchor(s). #markets #trading #economy #health #covid #investing #investors #stocks …see more
