The most exciting part for me: "The team at Wake Forest is partnering with the technology company Oracle to capture the data from the organoids and analyze it with artificial intelligence. The project, known generally as the body-on-a-chip system, involves printing living tissue on a microchip to allow drugs to be studied for toxicity and efficacy even before clinical trials begin. The chips can be the size of a nickel or quarter, which is big enough to hold 10 to 12 miniature organs." #HealthcareAI #ArtificialIntelligence #DigitalHealth #3DBioprinting #COVID19 …see more

The tragic experience of New York a few weeks ago should have been enough of an illustration. It wasn't. This snapshot of Italy's CoronaVirus situation highlights one of the difficult analytical challenges in assessing where we stand in containing the virus. This combination of more testing and a renewed uptick in cases can mean one of two things, the implications of which are very different: Are the data capturing an actual adverse W stage in the battle against infections (that is, deterioration after a notable improvement) ... OR ... The data are indicative of the impact of more testing. #Italy #coronavirus #infection #data #covid #covid19 #bloomberg …see more

Almost three years ago I threw out all of my belongings, stopped renting an apartment and lived only in AirBnBs. People thought it was the coolest thing. Mostly guys – guys would come up to me and say, “I always wanted to do what you are doing but I can’t because of the mortgage, the kids, etc.” But i'll tell you the truth... …see more

THE ABSOLUTE BASICS OF WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT#BITCOIN WITHOUT KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUT TECHNOLOGY. Too many people act like "tech snobs" when talking about Bitcoin. I honestly hate talking about this topic. Because the key to success is what I always say: Physical Emotional Creative Spiritual Health. I only know that because when I've been on the floor and in pain (bad business, bad breakup, bad breath, bad everything), these four things have been the only thing that have helped. When at bottom, all of this is BS: Not knowing what stock to pick. Or what "crypto" to pick. Or what conversation topic would be hot at a cocktail party. Or even having money in the bank. Nothing would help except those four areas of health. That saved my life. One day, one week without all four being checked off each day, and my life slips. I don't want my life to slip. I want it to compound every. Please let me stay disciplined and be good and be helpful. BUT...so many people asking me now about Bitcoin. So many scams out there. So many people proud of their "tech jargon" that actually know nothing about Bitcoin or why it's important. Just read this. Then do what you want. This is an answer I made on Quora. It's all you need to know. …see more

My first Inc. article to really take off was based on a little-known video that gave an inside look at a young Steve Jobs as he ran company meetings at NeXT (the startup he began after leaving Apple). This 31-year-old version of Jobs was brash and impetuous, with some glaring weaknesses. But we can also learn a lot from watching him in action. …see more
