I like his style, especially the fact that he's not big on meetings and knows the value of getting enough sleep (8 hours a night is what he gets).

So, I recently learned that my mom and dad often danced in the den of their home when they go home from a dinner out or some event. They did this into their 70's and 80's. They rolled up the rug, enjoyed a drink and danced to close out the evening. What a romantic notion --- a tradition I never knew about and one that seemed so so warm and loving. My dad passed away in 2008 and my mom recently remarked that she had not danced at night since then and missed my dad and dancing. She is now 89. So, I recruited my partner and he agreed to dance with my mom this week-end --- rug rolled up, drink in background and old fashioned music. Tradition revived for a night. A gift to my mom and one amazing partner I have who is willing to allow time to stop for just a moment to remember the past and create a memory. Thanks MW. …see more

Listen. We only have one more chance to get the economy working again. The last stimulus package and the one being proposed right now both seem to have decent intentions but both are missing the target. And they are missing it for stupid, partisan reasons. Here is the issue: This quarter, the economy will spend about $2-3 TRILLION less than was expected. GDP is normally about $5 trillion a quarter and will be about $2 trillion less this quarter (because of little to no consumer spending and all the ways that effects other businesses). Normally, that would be the WORST RECESSION IN HISTORY, as the headlines might say, or it might even be a Depression. But "this time it's different" is finally true because this is the first time in history the government has ordered us to stay at home and not work.
