According to our estimates, up to 220 million workers in China will need to change jobs and develop new skills by 2030 to keep pace with automation and digitization in the workplace. It still brings me a spark of joy when on a website you can pay with Apple Pay or PayPal. Airlines slowly waking up to this, next stop, hotels.

The subtexts of most pitches I get here is " I do interesting things, let me know if that's interesting and I'll tell you something about it". Why not use the first contact to explain more? Please just say " Based on X and Y, here is a problem I ca n solve, here is some more information about how I can best solve it"

On the one hand things are changing faster than ever and the pace is accelerating and on the other, history repeats itself. This is the tension to resolve.

I’ve had a magical year of meeting #midwives and #doulas and families who’ve been affected by #maternalmortality thanks to National Geographic Magazine, and I even saw a beautiful baby boy being born. But the main reason I want to buy this book is because the author’s first name is Eloise, which was my mother’s name. I never asked her who caught seven of her ten babies, and now I would give everything I have to know.
