LinkedIn Live hosts and creators - take a page from Clubhouse. Often we assume that our audience will watch from start to end. The reality is they don't. They pop in and out. They come in during the middle of our streams. They tune out. Retention is low on Live....why is that? It's because of the way we structure our streams. Many of us structure it like one long webinar.... 🙄 ✳ As a mod on #Clubhouse - Refreshing (good word A N D Y F O O T E ) or Resetting happens every 15mins, as a way to bring back to the topic - Super engaging, Super conversational, Super interactive - Focus going deep on a topic - Learn how to read the room (we forget about the audience) - Hold the space well, as a host/mod we have to visually hold space beyond our keyboard and camera I have a feeling that clubhouse mods will be amazing LinkedIn Live streamers and creators. We are constantly evolving as creators and as a platform. So keep growing, keep progressing. #stringspeed on #clubhouse #linkedinlive #contentcreating …see more
My single mum taught me many valuable lessons in life. One of them is being resourceful. As one of 5 kids, I'd fight to the death to play on the one computer. Every day, after school, we would walk to the local library and wait for my mum to pick us up. We couldn't afford childcare, but for me, it was magical. It was my Google. The librarians didn't mind us. Actually, they love us. One of them continues to follow my journey; she even asked me questions about creating YouTube videos. My brothers would play chess and read the manga. My sister would do her homework and read. I would hang out with Freud, Enid Blighton and enter the world of Greek mythologies. Looking back, I realised how resourceful my mother was. She found ways to make sure we were well-educated. She would find funds to level-up in life. Even now, COVID19 forced me to be stuck at home. I used the time to focus and streamline The Trusted Voice . What moments of resourcefulness are you proud of achieving? #stringtheory on #personalbranding #motivation …see more

Founders & CEOs - Many of you probably have already seen these advices from various venture funds by now, but I thought to share them here as well for the benefit of those who may not have seen these yet. Please read each article for much more in depth info; the gist of the advices are: 1) Assume meaningful drop in your revenues and top line growth for at least a few quarters to come unless you are in exceptional categories such as remote working technologies. 2) Cut down your expenses to increase your run rate. 3) Have policies for Working From Home and plans for how you will handle cases if your employees or executives end up being #COVID -19 positive. 4) Take actions fast and be decisive.
