Come on Apple! This is shameful. Even if there are good reasons for shutting down certain apps, like security holes, you need to do a better job of prioritizing tools that help users and parents control screen time. https://lnkd.in/eU-j684 #apple #screentime #indistractable #apps #habits #focus …see more

The more you know yourself, the more authentic you are. It easy to copy. There are many sources of inspirations. From Simon Sinek and his why. To Gary Vee and his no BS ways. Still, you're not Simon nor Gary. You are you. What's your why? What's your truth? Personal branding is an extension of you and your values. The values that drive you forward. The value of knowing your worth. Personal branding is walking your truth every day. Create content that reinforces your truth. Once you have clarity. It's easy to say no to things that don't make sense. And recognise the opportunities around us. Once I found my voice. It became easy to amplify my truth. But also, magic keeps happening. I found a tribe of volks that care. On the same note, I want to best serve them. I found a reason to wake up every day. Messages of podcast interviews come in weekly. Inbound requests to be part The Trusted Circle came in. Be clear. Know you. Be you. Share you. This is the time to upskill? Agree/Disagree? We can call it a crisis or an opportunity. Still, with so much downtown, this is a great time to refocus on upskilling and develop new skillsets. Have you heard of no-code? It's great, especially because I don't call myself a coder, but I do love tools and startup things. I've been part of the no-code or low-code for a while now. I just set up a free virtual presentation on how to automate workflows. It's called: Automating The Sh*t out of everything with no-code Interested in watching the replay? Who can relate to the set up below for their new workout routine these days? This is my new normal for workout;🏋🏼♀️ finding a quiet corner in the house to do 30-40 minutes of workout via online contents. I’ve started loving it. 👌🏻👌🏻A few big pluses: ➕Convenience: Can do it anytime. ➕Flexibility: Can do it for any length. ➕Control: Can chose the type and intensity of the workout for each session. ➕Cost: A lot of free or low cost, high quality digital contents. I suspect that #COVID19 will forever change the fitness industry and user’s behavior. A lot more people will shift to more home gyms and digital fitness contents. #userbehavior #disruption #fitness #fitnessindustry #workout #homegym #fitnessequipment #shelterinplace #coronoavirus #quarantine …see more
Good Disruption? A new entrant regardless and a new paradigm for getting drugs to patients... Hospital systems are starting their own non-profit pharmaceutical companies to control cost and supply. Everything we know about traditional “roles” and “actors” is up in the air and the idea that hospitals will only provide hospital-based services is so, well, YesterYear. Welcome to 2018! Selected Excerpt: “The idea is to directly challenge the host of industry players who have capitalized on certain markets, buying up monopolies of old, off-patent drugs and then sharply raising prices, stoking public outrage and prompting a series of Congressional hearings and federal investigations. The most notorious example is of Martin Shkreli, the former hedge fund manager who raised the price of a decades-old drug, Daraprim, to $750 a tablet in 2015, from $13.50.” …see more
Digital literacy has become a make-or-break during COVID. Digital COVID appointment and vaccination apps are the most efficient way to vaccinate the necessary 60% of the world population. However, older people struggle to navigate these online tools, which raises serious questions about how we move into the future of digital health. Digital health development cannot take a halt because of those still living analog. Just as we cannot leave behind those whose digital literacy is very basic. As this article also highlights, in the case of COVID, they are the ones who need access to a vaccine most urgently. If you’re aware of any solutions to this dilemma of our times, please comment! #digitalliteracy #vaccination #themedicalfuturist #digitalhealth #future #healthcare #medicine #technology #COVID19 #COVID_19 #coronavirus …see more
A year-long race to create the vaccine is over, and a new one starts now: a race about which countries can bounce back and reopen their economy. There’s no doubt that within a year, we’ll have more than enough doses to vaccinate everyone. So, now science and technology did its part and what remains is our willingness to trust it enough to take the vaccine. I’m fully aware that there are many concerns and much more misinformation.
