As we round the corner of a full year living with a murderous pandemic, I'd like to offer a few words of encouragement to all the #entrepreneurs I invest in and work with. I guarantee that life will serve up to you many catastrophic moments, unimaginable outcomes and times of grief. I have lived through many of them together with my teams. That is the bad news. The good news? Ask any successful business leader, manager, parent, soldier, preacher, teacher or health care provider and they will tell you this: You will never achieve success unless you have looked into the abyss of failure, made your peace with it, respect it for the test it made you take and above all moved on and upward. For each generation the test is different that is why you can't study for it, you just have to take it. Its called experience and you can't achieve success without it. The secret is to accept this truth and use it as your weapon when you go into battle every day. The fight is worth it!
