I just had my first ever FIDE match which I fortunately won. It was also my first classical format game and it was a real thrill. Since I started working with a FIDE chess trainer last November, I've trained for over 2 hours every day. My theory was that by doing this, I could understand A.I. algorithms better. What I have definitely learnt over this period is to respect what algorithms can achieve more. If that's the only outcome of my chess journey, it's already worth it. I've had many genetic tests and I even have the raw data of my genome sequencing so I decided to analyze it myself on Promethease.com . They don't give you a report supervised by a professional, they only combine data from your raw file and the genetic studies so you can mine your own data for your own risk. What I did was I brought the most interesting results (with the highest level of confidence) to my primary care physician so we could discuss them.
