Everyone I talk to these days seems to have the same question: “Are we headed for a recession?” The honest answer is, “I don’t know.” (In fairness, no one else does either.) Fortunately, my job as an economics reporter isn't to predict recessions. It's to report on what's happening now, and on the risks for the future.
