Think about this... An analysis of supply chain readiness suggests that Apple is expecting initial iPhone 11 sales to outstrip those of the iPhone XS/XS Max/XR — but not by a large margin. According to Wedbush, roughly 1/3 of Apple's 900 million active iPhones are in a ‘window of an upgrade opportunity’ over the next 12 to 18 months, which could translate into roughly 180 million iPhone units sold in FY20. As for what’s going to be announced, the rumor-mill consensus is three devices (possibly four). The high-end device will have a triple-lens camera. Everything will ship with iOS 13. You won’t see 5G on the iPhone 11, 11 Pro, or any Apple iPhone until at least 2020. CNET reports that it’s because Apple and Qualcomm were too busy suing each other to get it done.
