I've been waiting for this moment for months! Npj digital medicine, the digital health journal of Nature Research (Publishing) , published our original research about artificial intelligence-based FDA-approved medical devices and algorithms. It's our first publication in such a high-level journal. We aimed at filling two gaps: 1) The FDA should assess and approve A.I.-based medical devices and algorithms differently from others. 2) There should be an accessible database of such algorithms and devices as the FDA's website doesn't make it possible. Our team put a huge effort into creating an open access database and as the paper is available to everyone for free, please use it and share it if you find it useful! If you find any new items or we have missed something, please send your submissions, we'll cross-check it and update the database constantly. Hopefully, the FDA will soon take control over the database as they have the right resources to keep it growing. I'm so happy to share that the World Health Organization asked me to submit a concept paper about digital health and its impact on healthcare which I did with Zsuzsa Győrffy working with me at The Medical Futurist Institute. We are now having discussions with the WHO whether we can also release the paper in a form. I can't wait to share it with you. Being in a new role as the Head of Product in a company that has so many exiting opportunities going on for it and that the roles of the product, design, and development are so key for its success, could be a lot to take on. I'm having a great time getting a lot of super interesting work done at my new role at Halo Neuroscience such as defining Halo's products and experiences, establishing light processes to help our teams to be more effective, building teams, and getting Halo Neuroscience to the next stages.
