IT HAS been a fabulous journey. After little more than four years with BANDHAN BANK, I have decided to move on. I had the honour and privilege to see the birth of a unique bank from a ringside seat. It's the first instance of an MFI transforming into a universal bank in India and also the first bank to be set up in eastern part of India, after Independence. CS Ghosh, the man who has created it, is an extraordinary visionary who combines compassion for poor and a rare business acumen. These 51 months have been a great learning for me. 10 years ago today! The first event of my Radicalness. The next day the then AICPA VP Mark Koziel CPA, CGMA coined us a #movement in his Keynote. He said our firms then in 2010 were what the AICPA thought firms would like in 2020 based on a study they had done.... We still are not 100% there but we are getting closer everyday...
