I wish it was more widely understood that we need less choice of better things. This is the case in all directions. I don’t need Amazon to offer me 1000 SKU’s of TV, I need it to offer the 60 best ones. I don’t need Clubhouse to allow ever more people to make content, I need it to curate the best stuff. I don’t need Kayak to show me 1000 hotels, just 15 like Hotel Tonight, I don’t need to pick from 350 bizarrely named health insurance plans, just offer me 4 great ones. Since the dawn of time we’ve been wired for scarcity, we have long craved more, more was better. But now abundance is generally the problem.
