The expression “if you want to go fast, go alone, if you want to go far, go together” always feels rather nice. It’s just the reality is that consensus often means going far in the wrong direction, or not moving at all but feeling better about it. I’m not a fan of terrifying sociopaths that we also celebrate, but if only there was a way to marry a clear vision, the right amount of unreasonable, audacious goals, imagination driven leaps of faith with no data behind them with people aligned and inspired around a cause.
