It’s amazing how many things that would be done far faster, far more securely, far far more efficiently with a 20 word email and a 10 word email reply, that instead are 8 min phone calls with personal details shouted out in public after being on hold for 10 mins. We seem to think we live in the future but I spent 30 mins doing paperwork to send a paper booklet with ink stamps back to the UK to be replaced by another pile of paper. Why are passports and visas not just permissions in the cloud. I waited 45 mins to check into a hotel because the best hotel booking app around ( Hotel Tonight) uses fax machines send booking details. I’m struggling to get Health insurance as the world isn’t set up for people who dare to travel between states a lot, it’s the same with taxation laws.
