Every PowerPoint deck should be a word document unless there is a reason to make it one. The dreaded pitch deck is a lot of work and nice imagery to cover up the lack of actual "business idea" Every request for a phone call needs to be a pitch for someone's time, be honest and clear about intentions, even asking for a favor is fine. Get to the point early. Ideally use the inverted pyramid style. The inverted pyramid is a pretty good thing for all business communication in an age where people read too fast, don't read to the end, and fill in the gaps (not said) with their own assumptions. https://lnkd.in/dTZ_WVq …see more
