I still think the primary unit of work should be the email. A well-written, clear, concise email, with clear action points. I'm sure modern life is dictated by things we get notifications about, it becomes gamified. Inbox zero, attending 5 zoom calls, filling in timesheets. Zoom has become the new presenteeism. If we worked around what we need to accomplish, it would come down to decisions we need others to make, things we need people to know, plans we need others' inputs on, dinners to meet Clients, meetings to garner trust.
