It's odd how many people think trend lines this show eCommerce is THE future. 1) Stores were closed, what did people expect to happen? What happens when they open is the question? 2) Did people not see eCommerce coming? Has there ever been a more steady predictable trend? The real questions are: - How do we make stores that change based around the new behaviors than online has created, I don't want to search 24 placements of jeans like a treasure trail. -How do we make online commerce that's interesting and fun, all eCom sites feel as boring as a Catalogue. -How do we get the two to work together properly.
