I appreciate this sounds obnoxious, I'm sorry but my intentions are good Please be aware many people get 50+ connection requests a day, especially people far more useful, accomplished and interesting than me, of which there are millions. When after 5 days you have lots to go over, it's horrible making snap judgements on who to accept. It's not nice to have to "measure' someone ever, let alone quickly. This means many wonderful people I've declined, by mistake. I think a move towards explaining why you want to connect, or a little about your intensions would be a useful thing for the "requester" ( it's good to think what you want in life) & useful for the "acceptor". Even just saying you want to keep in touch because you have interest X or Y in common. I don't need you to work hard on being "worthy", I just would like you to think. Connections are capped on here, and accepting people who you don't know, can lead to issues when people ask for a "in" to someone later. I'm going to get some rude comments below, but please note I'm only trying to help, life is about creating good problems, and I'm blessed with many, but helping make things easier for everyone is not a distasteful goal, no matter how this reads. …see more
