Me : I feel like the media has totally distorted perspective and there is a huge misplaced amount of fear and anxiety out there. I think we’ve been driven to become hysterical and combative and we need to be hopeful and build bridges. Listening to Stoics, looking at the data, all provide comfort. People commenting on my feed : How dare you , you absolute $&@!?@& , this is a pandemic like no other, millions of people are dying, the virus is spreading everywhere, we are on the edge of the collapse of the world. Morgues are full, hospitals at the brim, and our future will only be worse- just look at the charts presented in the media. Just look at this article about a person in hospital. Look at this story about how this is the worst thing imaginable. And they seem unrelenting nor to see my point …see more
