I wish work shadowing was a regular thing. I’d learn loads following someone around for a day and seeing what they did and how. Ideally someone a bit older and wiser but not necessarily. Having someone do that with me and asking “silly” questions about why I do things the way I do, would be great for both sides too. We should do it once every year for a day.
