I've a sneaky feeling a huge number of new businesses are based on old predictions about lifetime customer value, old churn rates, and not the reality is that loyalty is dead, cancelling is easy, switching is expected and people brought in with a huge money off offer, may be the worst customers you could ever have. I wish all these physical subscription models luck, they may well need it.
