One big problem these days seems to be the modern notion that somehow your job should be something that provides you with purpose, happiness, authenticity, friendships and money. For all of human history work was punishment, a struggle for survival, a torment to escape for brief moments of snatched holidays. Don't get me wrong jobs should be with nice people, you've good relationships with, doing things that are not unreasonable. They shouldn't be toxic. But to aim for every human need in one thing, rather than seeking from different elements of your life, is probably asking a bit too much.
