500+ connections
Despite all the madness in the world, COVID-19 crisis could potentially have some positive outcomes: 1) Many schools, particularly K-12, which haven't had online contents are rushing to create digital materials for students. That will help make a leap on e-learning across all stages of education system. 2) Many other small businesses particularly the brick & mortars (e.g. ballet or piano classes) which lost their footprints are becoming more creative, creating and distributing their contents online which could unlock new business opportunities for them. 3) Organizations in totally different disciplines are coming together in new ways to cope with the coronavirus: Zoom offers K-12 students access to its videoconferencing software for free. The Gates Foundation, Wellcome & Mastercard are committing $125M in funding to companies developing treatments for the coronavirus. 4) Many companies that haven't been fully prepared to support #WorkFromHome needed to move to that direction. 5) Despite "social distancing," the deep human connections will get stronger & our communities will hopefully continue get tighter. China sent medical aid to Italy & Spain. Many offer help to their neighbors on Nextdoor. #positivethinking #beingoptimistic #elearning #coronavirus #covid19 #socialdistancing
