What we see today is the lethal combination of people like Zuckerberg or those that write the algorithms for YouTube. 1) Having more power than anyone in history. 2) Being the worst equipped people ever to handle such roles. 3) Being entirely incapable of understanding the power they have and 4) Being too "smart" at vastly different things to understand they don't understand it, and thus need help.
