Resumes/CV's seem entirely pointless these days. Things I care about: A persons values, opinions, ability to reason, imagination, writing skills, ability to make decisions, relationship building skills, agility and dexterity, how they cope with set backs, how well they work with people very different to themselves. Things I could not care less about: What school they went to, what they studied, when, and largely what experience they have. Which is pretty much all a resume is. I long for the day we judge candidates based on pieces they've written, viewpoints they've expressed, things they've made, relationships they've built, initiatives or groups they are part of. …see more
