It's weird when excuses used on earnings calls mention trends that have long been foreseen. Beer companies shocked beer consumption is dropping...... a very linear trend clear since 1970 in Canada, 1980 in the USA and Germany, 2000 in the UK, Packaged food companies shocked that "people have shifted toward simpler ingredients and healthier food" -like McDonalds acted on 6 years ago. …see more
