Here is a little challenge. Take a note of the next 20 ads you are served on your laptop/desktop and your phone. Is this really the best we can do? Terrible targeting, stupid retargeting, creative that's not been worth a human approving. Click on an ad and see what happens? It's like nobody expected you do to it. Look at the horror that is "you may also like" AdTech is close to a $100bn industry that seems to have entirely failed to work for anyone except itself. It would be great if we rethink many of the principles of advertising today. To be more ambitious. To be more respectful of peoples attention. To be empathetic. To be helpful. To look like we cared and thought through and crafted what we do. Is that so hard?
