We've got the best array of ways to communicate that we've ever had. Text, email, slack, voice chat, phone calls, conference calls, meetings, collaborative documents, IM etc. It's weird how little time we put into thinking which way is the best way to get things done. So many meetings should be collaborative documents, so many texts should be emails, so many emails should be phone calls. If we could all think a bit more about the best way, not the easiest way, we'd get a lot more done. And if we stop conventions from the past about how to speak in new channels, we'd see huge benefits too. …see more
