Quite a lot of people think Blockchain will change everything and fast. I'm not sure it will. As an analogy, let's assume a new 3D house printing robot is developed, it can create houses in 1 day, for $20,000. We know this should revolutionize housing and real estate. You would however still have buy land, you'd have to establish planning permission.You'd need to furnish it. You'd likely need to work with real estate agents to buy it. It would be priced at market value, not what it cost to make. So you'd need the same mortgage brokers you have today, relying of hand filled in forms and reams of paperwork and proof. You'd still struggle to buy a home without a steady job or 3 years income.  You'd have an underlying core technology that is profoundly exciting and powerful, that should in theory change everything,  made antiquated by the human beings it interfaces with, the politics of regulation, worlds of bureaucracy that won't change fast because maybe they don't want change.  The same is likely true of Blockchain.
