Can we stop calling companies tech companies now? If you make great pizza and have a website, you are a pizza company not a tech company. If you make amazing shoes helped by 3D printers, you are still not a tech company. If you make all your money from selling advertising you are a media company, regardless of the technology you use. You are probably not a "tech company that happens to sell coffee". Companies now operate in what's best called "the modern world". Using digital stuff is like using electricity, it's just required for 2017. So unless you make money from making technology, please accept "being a tech company" is silly.
