Western medicine or Eastern medicine? Why do some of us trust an aspirin more than acupuncture to treat a headache or to control pain or to minimize nausea? Why choose a pharmaceutical over a biologic? Especially when there is hard science to show that acupuncture (say) is as effective? I was on a long bus ride recently and a passenger got very nauseous. Another passenger was a practitioner of acupuncture and “treated” the “patient” while we were on the road!
