I've never been a fan of Danielle Steel as I moved beyond Mills & Boons phase decades ago. I am more the 'Gone with the Wind' type. Margaret Mitchell wrote only one book but it has a lot of depth and its impressions are carved in my mind, despite reading it decades ago. Coming back to Danielle Steel, I have no recollection of any of her titles or story line. But then I read this article about the volume of her work with Discipline, Passion & Work ethic & it struck a chord. It certainly deserves #respect . As an entrepreneur in her own right, she reinvented boundaries for what's possible. I questioned myself - How important is our notion to build one big thing v/s things with incremental value? In our world it is the aspiration to build one big unicorn v/s multiple businesses of incremental value. Would love to hear you thoughts.
