Diversity and inclusion isn't just a black issue. It isn't just a white issue. It isn't just a female issue. It's an everybody issue. People seem to forget that there are gatekeepers of power. ALWAYS. So attacking those gatekeepers gets us nowhere as a society and nowhere as professionals. We have to work together. We have to give everyone a seat at the table. A big push for us is bringing on more women in 2020 and diversifying our team in that aspect. Because 1). There are so many talented women out there and saying "they're hard to find" isn't an excuse anymore. And 2). because being diverse will make us SO much better. Diversity of thought is a powerful thing. But that only works if we understand. No more checking the D&I box just for the sake of it.
