Digital health is a cultural transformation of healthcare. There is an interesting story about how one futurist noted that a 1960s film of the “office of the future” made on-par technological predictions (fax machines, personal computers or telephones), but had a glaring omission: The office had no women. This is why it's so crucial to embrace the cultural nature of the transformation we witness today in healthcare. It is initiated, but not driven by technologies.
