I've been in touch with the A.I. group of the American Medical Association to give feedback on the guide they released. Wonderful job! I wish every medical association would follow AMA's lead (also think about the Digital Health Playbook they made available). The strong points which I have never seen any medical association address properly before: - the concept of "explainable A.I." is brilliant - the levels of A.I. are clearly explained - the need for an A.I. policy and the approach of constantly refining this policy are crucial - the clear definition of augmented intelligence I further recommended addressing how different approaches deep and reinforcement learning require compared to pure machine learning; the essential role of data annotators and why there will be no A.I. without them; and the ultimate experience would be a course based on the Finnish example ( elementsofai.com ).
